"My hand do the work of my heart" - Derrick Little
based in New York City.
He started face painting via a weekend class at
Tobi Britton's Makeup Shop in NYC in 2001.
That class was taught by an amazing artist from
Belgium named Olivier Zegers.
Derrick then began face painting children on
Sunday afternoons in Tompkins Square Park
in the East Village. The rest is history.
When not painting faces, he paints bodies,
decorates storefronts in and around NYC,
volunteers wth the Teen Program of Hour Children,
teaches Kundalini Yoga, and also
with his gong, quartz bowls & other healing instruments.

Derrick has immense gratitude for his fantastic clients
and his talented peers. It is only by way of their support
that he continus to make a living making art.
Since starting his face and body painting career around 2001, Derrick estimates he likely touched and painted upwards of 175,000 faces to date...but who's counting?
